Are you an experienced Business Development professional with an established network in the Irish MedTech market? Do you have a background in engineering or have previous experience working in a technical consultancy, focused on driving commercial and profitable business growth?
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based In Ireland who will play a key role in achieving and managing sales in Ireland to support the future growth of eg technology.
Job Overview
The successful applicant will work closely with the Director of Business Development to help generate, develop and close sales opportunities with new and existing clients. This role is primarily based out of our shared office space at the PorterShed in Galway or any of the other partner hub locations around Ireland. The role will require frequent national and regular international travel to visit eg technology’s headquarters in Cambridge and prospective clients, network events and conferences.
Responsibilities
You will be creating, generating, developing and closing sales opportunities, liaising with the Business Development & Marketing team to target prospective clients and attending networking events and exhibitions to drive sales.

We are looking for:
A confident, self-driven and presentable person who strives to bring in new business and has experience of working in Ireland. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and aptitudes:
- Have considerable experience working within technical sales, generating leads and closing sales.
- Experience in MedTech sector
- Confident in presenting and engaging with potential clients.
- Developing and managing client accounts.
- Writing technical proposals.
- Managing opportunities and accounts through a CRM; HubSpot or similar.
- Engineering background or transferable skills in any of the eg disciplines
